ABOUT US Revival Praise was formed just a little over 4 years ago when the Orange Co. House of Prayer was started. We did have some "talent" in the mix but we needed more than just talent. We DESIRED an anointing that you don't get just every day. We started services after just a month of practices. Oh how those first 2 practices made me wonder if we were doing the right thing! LOL We started with myself, (Sherrie Burton- vocals and keys), Jason Osborne (lead guitar), Pastor Joe Allen (drums), and Tiffany Burton (backup vocals). At the time Jason was the only real skilled musician, he can just make that guitar sing! Tiffany (now 17) was only 13 and had never done any harmony. Pastor Joe had only played drums about 6 times, and I (Sherrie) had no idea what I was doing anywhere! HA! I had been on a few worship teams, I had sang my whole life, but I had never led a worship team before. I knew in my heart what I wanted, but getting it done, that was a different story. Yet, we ALL had a passion and a heart to lead our church in some powerful praise and worship. And that we did from the first service on! Praise God things got better. We really began to "mesh" together. Jason started picking up on where I was going before I went there. Pastor Joe continued to play better and better (He's just anointed!). Tiff's harmony became unbelievable (Praise You Jesus), now I don't know what I would do without her! About 3 yrs. later we were blessed with Matt (bass). Oh what a blessing that was! I had no idea how much better we would sound with just a bass. Now we wouldn't do it without him! Praise God for one more skilled musician! He had over 20 years experience playing and he still blesses our socks off. I don't believe I've ever heard a better bass player in my life. Then a little over 2 years ago we were joined by Sherri Arnold(vocals). What a blessing to have someone else to back us up. It has been awesome to have a different voice in the mix. And the harmony is just amazing! Praise God! He has answered our prayers AGAIN! About a year ago now we were blessed with Eric Powell joining the worship team. Eric plays rhythm/electric guitar, writes WONDERFUL songs, and does some back up. What an awesome addition God has brought us! So, about 6 months ago we added another backup singer, Amber Burton. She is only 15 yrs old but she's doing an incredible job! It's so awesome to see a teen willing to stand and worship! And what a sweet spirit she brings to our worship. God is doing some mighty things here! We just believe that there is oh so much more to offer God with our praise! CD CDs are available for $10.00.
